What exactly do I get when I buy?
A lifetime license ("HWPAIRING KEY") for one machine, unlocking the full MultiCS r100-rc75 x86_64 server at startup — no trials, no expiry, no feature locks. You download a ZIP with your personal multics.cfg (license already first line), the server binary, an offline keygen for future re-pairing, a one-command installer, and an API key for scripted delivery.
How is my license delivered?
Fully automatically, seconds after payment: your order portal goes live at status.php (link emailed), with the final licensed config and ZIP ready to download. You can also pull machine-readable files any time from our backend API using the per-license key shipped in the kit.
What is the HW pairing and why do I sometimes need to provide credentials?
MultiCS r100-rc75 couples its license to the hardware it runs on — it prints a machine fingerprint ("HW Pairing Data") at startup. Paste that fingerprint into your portal and we derive your personal key. Don't want to do it manually? Let us do the whole install: provide the server IP and SSH credentials and our installer uploads everything (libs, binary, licensed config, systemd unit), boots it, and binds the license for you.
My server changed (cloned VM, new DMI/UUID, NIC MAC) and the license complains.
That's expected when hardware identifiers change — fingerprints differ, so simply re-derive: run the bundled keygen.sh on the new machine (works offline), or contact support to release the hardware binding so you can activate the new box. There's no extra charge and no license-count penalty.
Which operating systems are supported?
Any Linux x86_64 with glibc — Debian/Ubuntu (apt), CentOS/Rocky (yum/dnf) are covered out of the box; the installer adds runtime libraries and the systemd service automatically. The binary is guarded to its normal path (/var/etc), which the installer handles for you.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay through the hosted PayGate checkout (EUR or USD depending on your region and the chosen provider). Licenses are digital goods; faulty or unmatched deliveries are replaced for free by support, and unredeemed purchases are refundable at support discretion.
